What is PlayStation Plus?
- PlayStation Plus is Sony’s subscription service that allows you to play online and download selected games for free from the PS Store.
- You get access to a library of around 1,000 games, which is regularly updated. You can view the full catalog on the official PlayStation Network website.
- You can't download every game — only those included in your current subscription plan.
Subscription Plans
- Deluxe — includes online multiplayer, a library of modern games, and classic titles.
- Extra — includes online play and access to modern games (classics not included).
- Essential — online multiplayer only, with a limited game library.
- All plans come with additional benefits: PS Store discounts, game trials, and cloud saves.
Duration and How to Buy
- You can choose a 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month subscription (the 12-month option offers the best value).
- At GameWorld, Deluxe profiles for PS4 and PS5 are more affordable than in the PS Store — each profile includes multiple digital games and can be shared across three consoles.
- It's also possible to purchase a PS4 or PS5 console with a pre-installed profile and a 12-month PS Plus Deluxe subscription.
